Managing our supply chain
We want to build and maintain a supply chain that embodies our values and vision. We follow a Customer of Choice strategy so we can manage our supply chain in a responsible and sustainable way and make sure we have a selection of suppliers and subcontractors who not only perform well but undertake their activities to the highest quality standards and safety expectations.
Customer of choice
Our Customer of Choice strategy sets clear expectations of what our commitments are, as well as what we expect from our supply chain, so we can continue to deliver excellence to our customers. It’s also how we structure our supply chain. Our tiered structure divides our suppliers and subcontractors into different groups depending on their performance, standards and suitability, as well as a number of other key factors. The categorisation of our supply chain is decided following a review and consultation process with relevant stakeholders across our business.

We have been made aware that fraudsters are using spoofed email domains to impersonate NG Bailey and place fraudulent orders with suppliers.
Examples of the spoofed email domains are @ngbaileylimited.co.uk and @ng-bailey.com.
Communications from these domains are not associated with NG Bailey Group in any way.
The only legitimate email domains used by the NG Bailey Group are: @ngbailey.co.uk, @ngbailey.com and @freedom-group.co.uk. We urge suppliers to be vigilant and to block any spoof domains to prevent fraudulent activity.

With around 48% of our supply chain already engaged, we are working closely with suppliers to support carbon reduction through strengthened environmental requirements, practical tools, expert guidance, and free training delivered in partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School. Together, we are building a more resilient, capable, and sustainable supply chain for the future.
