Build your career with us

Apprenticeships add real value to our business, helping to shape our workforce and the future of our industry.

We welcomed our first apprentice in 1934 and continue to train and develop apprentices over 90 years later.

Our industry-leading approach develops the behaviours, skills, knowledge, and experience our apprentices need to build a successful career. We work in partnership with a national network of colleges to offer some of the best training in the industry.

As one of our apprentices, you will be fully supported throughout your programme, whether it’s from colleagues and experts within your team, or our dedicated Early Careers team. This helps you make the most of your experience with us, reach your potential, and succeed in your role, while enabling the business to thrive alongside you.

Applications

All applications must come through our online careers portal, which is accessible when a vacancy is live.

Applications consist of an online form with questions designed to allow us to understand you. You can also upload a CV but your responses to the questions are important to us. Please click here to read our application hints and tips.

Some of our apprenticeships are very popular and will close earlier than advertised if we receive a high volume of applications, so we recommend applying as soon as roles go live.

Use of AI in your application

AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini can be helpful for research and preparation, for example to understand the role or organisation. However, your application must be written in your own words and reflect your own experiences and motivations. Applications that appear to be entirely AI‑generated will not be progressed, as we want to understand you and your genuine interest in joining NG Bailey.
